Welcome to my website...enjoy.

I came from a wonderful and creative childhood in Decatur, Georgia. Between weekend projects, camping in a Volkswagen Bus, and sitting under my mothers easel at craft shows, I inherited a sense of adventure into an ever evolving world of art and music.

My mother, Carole Connely, is recognized internationally for her work in abstract figuritive on canvas in oil, and other mediums. Much of the influence in my work comes from her. My father became a chiropractor to keep food on the table and his children's spine's aligned. Then late at night and weekends he is a wonderful artist and craftsman by many trades. This is where I adopted the "jack of all trades" idea. You can view many of his paintings and sculpture pieces in local Georgia galleries.

THE LOFT is my studio in Washington, Georgia. I teach art and craft classes for children, adults, and special occasions. I will be bringing various art teachers throughout the following year. I teach candlemaking, soapmaking, floral arranging, and other holiday classes including wreath making. I had a retail floral shop in downtown Atlanta for over 12 years. Many other classes are forming as The Loft gets underway. I also teach guitar and my favorite passion...songwriting. Look for upcoming performances! The Loft will always be filled with music.
